About the Drydocks World

Drydocks World-Dubai is the Middle East’s largest ship repair yard. A division of DP World called Drydocks World operates it. Ship repair, vessel conversion, new construction, maintenance and repair are the services offered at the shipyard (MRO).

Drydocks World-Dubai has grown to become a major provider of marine and offshore services to the shipping, oil, gas, and energy industries over the last 36 years.

The yard was designed as an ambitious project under the direction of the late Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, and is best placed in a fast-growing part of the world.

Drydocks World – Goal and Mission

Drydocks World’s mission is to be the global leader and a preferred location for ship repair, conversion, new building, rigs, and maintenance projects.

Staff Facility

The yard follows ISO 9001 and 2000 safety and environmental standards. Security guards, gas and safety inspectors, fire workers, and emergency response teams are among the health and safety departments at the yard.

The International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code is followed by the yard.
