Job Outline: –
To perform the daily butchery tasks, provide great customer service, and aid in displaying the butchery/poultry in accordance with the allowed scheme of work.
Responsibilities and Experience
- Check the production schedule to find out what items need to be prepared each day by looking at the stock on the display.
- To prepare meat products, such as kebabs, kofta, and cutlets, following the specified recipe and ingredient criteria.
- To ensure the quality and quantity of the goods and their presentation in line with the standards.
- Ensure that every piece of equipment is put where it belongs and that all containers are covered and marked with the date and time.
- Ensure that all price tags are precise, current, spotless, and readable.
- Uphold a high standard of personal hygiene, including neat and appropriate attire.
- 2-3 years’ worth of expertise in cutting meat or poultry
Being polite, informed, and attentive to detail can help you thrive as a butcher. In addition to having great communication skills, you should have a solid grasp of meat quality, cuts, and preparation.
