All the activities should be performed strictly in compliance with the client’s HSE requirements and other senior authorities. The main roles and responsibilities will be:
- Actively contributing to the safety of walks and should report and investigate accidents.
- Ensure that the quality work is delivered as per the key requirements of the project.
- Supervise the on-site mechanical construction and erection activities and provide assistance to the construction manager.
- Reviewing and approving work-method statements and following up with the site mechanics to confirm that the work being done is in accordance with the work-method statements.
- Enforce discipline among subordinates so that the work goes smoothly.
- Follow up EPCC Contractors and subcontractors to make sure that they are implementing the technical content of the EPCC Contract documents.
- Follow up on the scheduling and progression and detect if there is a deviation from the EPCC Contract schedule and correct the same.
Requirements
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream from a renowned and recognized university
- Candidates with at least two years of mechanical experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer industries, as well as at least three years of supervisory experience, would be preferred.
- The English language is a plus.
