Job Outline
Working closely with senior management to boost the company’s efficiency and profitability. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is included in the job description.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Business Unit leaders to develop yearly budgets and projections.
- Estimating long-term growth and determining the business elements that influence it.
- Provide competitive analysis, market trends, and related opinions to the leadership team.
- Using BI technologies to provide valuable insights into business performance.
- Inform senior management of the reasons behind product/department performance and results.
- Create financial KPIs that will be used to evaluate the firm’s success and the financial plan.
- Creating business cases to support new investments, strategic decisions, and other company choices.
- Evaluating prior budgets and expenditures in order to create and execute future budgets.
- Communicating findings and recommendations to senior management for changes that will result in cost savings, revenue development, and operational simplification.
Skills & Proficiencies
- Professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, and CIMA.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant analytical experience is required.
- Advanced computer program skills, including the ability to write macros in Excel and other accounting tools.
- Strong mathematical skills and the capacity to tackle difficult issues are required.
- Experience in retail is beneficial.
